What’s Important?

Our fast-paced lifestyles are often driven by our ambitions to attain the latest and greatest, next best thing. A big part of what I do with my clients is to encourage them to focus on the things that have true meaning in their lives. This enables them to eliminate a lot of the unnecessary clutter that gets in the way of what’s important. Time and time again, the meaningful relationships with those we care about are identified to be what’s most important, and in which we are thankful.

I encourage you to examine your relationship with the stuff you’ve accumulated. Does it positively contribute or does it get in the way of what’s important in your life?
Happy Thanksgiving and warmest regards for a fun, eventful, and organized holiday season!

New Decorative Storage Boxes

Fabric covered storage boxes are rare finds, especially in larger sizes. Rubbermaid’s new collection of storage boxes will contain your items beautifully, and organize your items in multiple compartments within the storage box. The Bento box has internal flex dividers that let you divide the storage box into unique sections to keep your items organized. The lid doubles as a tray which provides an extra layer of organization, in addition to concealing the items in the storage box.
One of my favorite features about Rubbermaid’s new storage box is that it’s covered in decorative fabric, which enables it to remain out and accessible in a room while blending with the decor. Ease of access is key to any successful storage solution for maintaining organized living spaces.

Organized in Vintage Americana Style

In keeping with celebrating America’s culture and history during the month of July, it’s a great time to consider adding a layer of interest to your home’s storage and organization that characterizes the spirit of Americana. Americana-style is not limited to stars and stripes. It draws inspiration from several eras throughout American history.

Industrial Americana reflects America’s Industrial Era.  I love the juxtaposition of industrial touches with more traditional furnishings.  Consider incorporating industrial touches in your decor that have the additional benefit of storage potential…
